Note that every time you win you retain the dice – you are the ‘shooter’ – and it remains your turn.

If you lose, you pass the dice on to the next player.

Of course, in most online craps games you will be the only player and thus will act as the shooter at all times.

Pass Line Bet

This bet can only be made before the Come Out roll. If a 7 or 11 is rolled during the Come Out roll, the Pass Line bet wins and pays 1:1. If the Come Out roll craps out (with a 2, 3 or 12), the Pass Line bet loses. If the Point is rolled, the Pass Line bet remains on the table until the end of the round. The player cannot modify or remove it during the round. If the Point is rolled before a 7, the Pass Line bet pays 1:1. If the opposite happens, the Pass Line bet loses.

How to Play Craps

The Pass Line

The most popular bet in this game is generally thought to be the Pass Line Bet.

You can place this wager when the game begins, prior to the 'come out' roll, and the game will be 'Off'.

Click on the Pass Line and add the amount you wish to wager to the table, and then hit Roll in order to roll the dice.

If you roll either a 7 or 11, your bet will be paid out at even money (1:1). The bet will be settled as a loser if you roll 'Craps' (2, 3 or 12).

If you roll any other number (4, 5, 6, 8, 9 or 10), then this number becomes the 'point' and the game is now 'On'.

The point is indicated by an ON token being placed on a number-box.

In order for you to win the bet from this stage, you have to roll the point before you roll a 7, and you are paid out at even money.

Your wager loses if you roll a 7 prior to rolling the point.

The bet will still be 'in play' on the table if you roll any number that isn't the point or a 7, and the dice will be re-rolled.

Play continues until your wager has been settled, and when this occurs the game becomes Off, the point will be reset and you will roll a new come out roll.

The Don't Pass Line

The Don't Pass Line bet is the complete opposite of a pass line bet, and you will have the option to place it on the 'Don't Pass Bar' when the game is Off.

If you roll a 2 or a 3, the Don't Pass Line bet pays out at even money. If you roll a 7 or an 11, then your bet loses. Rolling a 12 results in a push.

If any number other than those listed above is rolled, the point will be established and the game is On.

You must roll a 7 before rolling the point to win the bet at this stage, and if you achieve this you will be paid out at even money.

You lose the bet if the point is rolled before you roll a 7.

The bet stays 'in play' if you roll a number that isn't the point or a 7, with the dice being re-rolled until one of those numbers appears.

Play continues until your wager has been settled. When this takes place, the game is Off, and you will roll a new come out roll after the point has been reset.

The Come Bet

The Come Bet is essentially identical to the pass line bet, although this bet can only be placed when the game is On.

Place your chips in the area labelled 'Come' in order to place a Come bet.

Rolling a 7 or an 11 on the next roll sees the bet win, and you are paid out at even money.

If craps (2, 3 or 12) is the next roll, you lose your Come wager.

Rolling any other number sees that number become the 'come point'. This will then transfer the Come bet from the 'Come' area to the box corresponding to the come point.

Rolling the come point prior to rolling a 7 will see the bet paid out at even money.

If you roll a 7 prior to the come point, you lose your wager.

The Don't Come Bet

The Don't Come Bet is essentially identical to the Don't Pass Line Bet, with the key difference being that this bet can only be placed when the game is On.

Place this bet by clicking on the 'Don't Come Bar'.

You win this bet if the following roll is a 2 or a 3, and you are paid out at even money.

If the following roll is a 7 or an 11 then the bet loses, and there will be a push if a 12 is rolled.

If any other number is rolled then it turns into the 'don't come point'. This will move the Don't Come bet from the 'Don't Come Bar' to the box that links to the don't come point.

Roll a 7 prior to rolling the don't come point and you are paid out at even money.

You lose your wager if the don't come point is rolled prior to a 7.

Odds Bets

Odds bets are an extension of the Pass, Don't Pass, Come, and Don't Come bets that you can make as soon as you have established the point for that bet.

Odds bets win and lose with their associated bet, however they will be paid out at their true odds.

As opposed to the original Pass, Don't Pass, Come, and Don't Come bets, you can remove odds bets after any roll has taken place.

Your bet can be maximised if you hit the Max Odds button.

Pass Line Odds Bets

This wager can be placed when you click outside of the Pass Line where it says Odds.

A winning pass line odds bet pays true odds of: 2:1 when the point is 4 or 10, 3:2 when the point is 5 or 9, and 6:5 when the point is 6 or 8.

Don't Pass Line Odds Bets

This wager can be placed by clicking on the tramlines below 'Don't Pass Bar'.

Don't Pass Line Odds pay: 1:2 when the point is 4 or 10; 2:3 when the point is 5 or 9, and 5:6 when the point is 6 or 8.

Come and Don't Come Odds Bets

These two bets can be placed in addition to Come and Don't Come bets, after they have been transferred to the point's box.

Come odds bets have the same payout as Pass Line Odds: 2:1 when the come point is 4 or 10, 3:2 when the come point is 5 or 9, and 6:5 when the come point is 6 or 8.

Don't come odds bets have the same payout as Don't Pass Line Odds: 1:2 when the don't come point is 4 or 10, 2:3 when the don't come point is 5 or 9, and 5:6 when the don't come point is 6 or 8.

Field Bets

You can win a Field bet if the next roll of the dice produces one of the following numbers: 2, 3, 4, 9, 10, 11, or 12.

Place your chips on the Field in order to place a Field bet.

Roll a 2 and you are paid out at 2:1, while a 12 gives you a 3:1 payout.

Rolling a 3, 4, 9, 10, or 11 gives you an even money payout.

If you roll a 5, 6, 7 or 8, then you lose your Field wager.

Big 6 & Big 8 Bets

To place these wagers, put your chips in the box marked Big 6 or Big 8.

Roll the number you selected prior to a 7 and you are paid out at even money.

Roll a 7 and you lose your wager.

Rolling a number that isn't a 7 or your selected number will keep the bet on the table for the next roll.

You can remove your wager at any time.

Place to Win Bets

You can wager Place to Win bets on the following numbers: 4, 5, 6, 8, 9, or 10.

Hit the Place to Win section of a number to add your chips.

These bets can be placed at any time, although when the game is 'off' your Place to Win bets are 'not working' by default.

Roll your number before a 7 to win; if a 7 is rolled first, you lose.

The bet remains unsettled if the roll doesn't produce your number or a 7, and you can remove it at any time. The same applies to Place to Lose, Buy and Lay bets.

Place to Lose Bets

Place to Lose bets are essentially the same as Place to Win bets, with the difference being that you win if you roll a 7 prior to one of the numbers listed above.

Your chips can be placed when you click on a Place to Lose section of a number box.

Buy Bets

A Buy bet is like a Place to Win bet. To place a Buy bet, hit the Buy section of a number.

Roll the number you bet on before a 7 and your bet wins; if a 7 comes up first, you lose.

When the game is Off, Buy bets will be set as not-working by default.

If you win a Buy bet, 5% of the Buy bet amount is paid as commission, however your winnings will be paid out with true odds: 6:5 on numbers 6 and 8, 3:2 on numbers 5 and 9, and 2:1 on numbers 4 and 10.

Lay Bets

A Lay bet is the complete opposite of a Buy bet.

If you wish to make a Lay bet, hit the Lay section on a number.

Roll a 7 before that number to win, and you will lose if the number you bet against comes up before a 7.

If you win a Lay bet, 5% of your winnings will be taken as commission.

Lay bet winnings are paid at true odds: 5:6 on numbers 6 and 8, 2:3 on numbers 5 and 9, and 1:2 on numbers 4 and 10.

Any 7 Bets

Click on the Any 7 section to place this bet, which pays out at 5:1 if you roll a 7, though it loses if any other number is produced.

Any Craps Bets

Hit the Any Craps section on the board in order to place this bet.

Roll craps (2, 3 or 12) and this bet will be paid out at 8:1. If any other numbers are produced, you lose.

Horn Bet

To place a Horn Bet, click on the Horn Bet button which can be found at the bottom of the table.

Your allocated chip amount will automatically be placed on each of the four bet options.

To win this bet, you must roll one of the following numbers: 2, 3, 11 or 12.

If any other number is rolled, you lose.

You don't have to place a bet on each of the four options, as you can click on the individual bet areas to add your chips as you wish.

If you roll a 2 or a 12, you are paid out at 34:1, while a 3 or an 11 will give you a 17:1 payout.

Hard Way Bets

Rolling a number 'the hard way' means you have rolled doubles.

E.g. to roll a 6 'the hard way', the dice must show two 3s.

If you roll 6 with a 1 and a 5, or a 2 and a 4, that is known as an 'easy way 6'.

You can place Hard Way bets on the following numbers: 4, 6, 8 or 10.

To win a Hard Way bet, the hard ways of that number must be rolled before you roll a 7, and before you roll the easy way of that number.

E.g. to win a Hard Way 6 bet, you have to roll two 3s before a 7, or before an easy way 6 (1 and 5 and 2 and 4) are produced.

Rolling another number leaves the bet in play, though you have the option to remove it before your next roll.

The Hard Ways button is found at the bottom of the table, and when you click it it will automatically place your allocated chip amount on each of the four Hard Way bet options. You also have the option to click an individual Hard Way bet option if you wish to place a single wager.

Hard ways 4 and 10 will give you an 8:1 payout, whereas 6 and 8 give you a 10:1 payout.

Working / Not Working

Some bets in craps can be selected to be Working or Not Working.

If a bet is Working, then it is constantly active.

Not Working means that the bet is active only when the game is On. Not Working bets will be inactive while the game is Off, so they cannot win or lose.

Our default settings have Odds bets, Place-to-Win/Buy bets and Hard Ways bets as Not Working; and Place-to-Lose/Lay bets as Working.

To edit these settings, head to the Bet Options section.

Note: the Return To Player (RTP) rate remains the same, regardless of whether a bet is Working or Not Working.

Roll History

The roll history bar can be found on the left-hand side of the table, and it shows you the results of the last 12 rolls of the dice. The bar also shows you if the game is currently On or Off.

You can view the Stats button on the left-hand side of the table, and this informs you of the frequency that numbers have been produced in the last 100 rolls, as well as the statistical expectation of rolling those numbers.

Max Odds/Remove/Instant/Roll Buttons

These four buttons can be found at the bottom of the table.

The Roll button rolls the dice.

The Instant button rolls the dice instantly and allows for a faster game.

The Remove button allows you to remove any chips that are able to be removed.

Return To Player (RTP): 99.63%

The expected return is the amount we pay out to players relative to the amount of wagering on the game.
