Read Range 

Sensors need to read passive tags at close range. They can’t be read at long range as actively-powered RFID tags can. So consider when and where it is appropriate in your venue to use passive tag key tracking.

There are potential read issues at range with actively-powered tags too. For example, sensors can read active tags up to 20 meters away, but they have difficulty determining how close tags are once they’re less than 5 meters away or so.

That can be an issue in tightly packed offices. For example, if there is a thin wall between your rear exit and your breakroom. If employees routinely take keys into the breakroom, you may get a constant stream of false positives from the rear exit alarm.

Is there a dress code at Aspers Casino?

• Swimming shorts or cut-off jeans
• Tracksuits
• Steel toe capped boots/shoes or trainers
• T-shirts or sweatshirts with adult slogans or images

In addition, with Newcastle United home games on our doorstep, away team shirts of the opposing team are not able to be worn on that home match days within the casino.

You can also access the casino via our ground floor Stowell Street entrance, located in Newcastle’s busy China Town. The closest public transport link to this entrance is via St. James’ Park Metro.

Can I park at Aspers Casino?

Yes, please use The Gate Car Park which is located on Stowell St. Alternatively you can park at the NCP car park, also located on Stowell St. or St. James Park which is just a 2 minute walk from our Stowell St. entrance.
